Double Kestrel “high D” made in Birch

With a double flute in the key of ”D” the melody is played on one side and the other side provides the drone in the root note of the flute making it sound like two people are playing. Double flutes have a double mouthpiece enabling you to switch from a single flute to a double flute instantly without adjustments. This style is unique and generates more volume, (amplitude). Birch is very durable and has a sweet, lilting voice.
